Job Duties

• Consult with clients to develop and document Web site requirements
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Develop server side functionality using Javascript on Node.js
• Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back-end
• Develop Web site architecture and determine hardware and software requirements
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Plan, design, write, modify, integrate and test Web-site related code
• Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Developing front end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Create and optimize content for the Web site using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software
• Identify and troubleshoot various issues and coding problems
• Develop visually appealing front-end architecture (web and mobile)
• Develop user interfaces for both management of services and applications
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications, designing and developing APIs
• Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Web site
• Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science
• 3 years to less than 5 years  in a similar role
• Good problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Requires the ability to read, write, communication in English
• Highly motivated self-starter, excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to pick up new technology and concepts quickly
